Mosaic has 6 programmes for children aged 18 months – 5 years. The classroom groups are Toddlers (18 – 24 months); Early Learners (2 – 3 years); Preschool (FS1) (3 – 4 years); Pre-KG (FS2) (4 – 5 years). School Readiness runs within the Pre-KG day, and Enrichment Activities run after the nursery day for children aged 2 to 5 years. Children move up in August based on age and readiness rather than on their birthday, so a summer-born child is not pushed on before they are ready.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed on weekends and UAE public holidays. You can choose a full day (8:00 to 6:00), a half day (8:00 to 2:00, including lunch) or a morning (8:00 to 12:30), across three, four or five days a week. Afternoon-only sessions from 1:00 or 2:00 to 6:00 are also available. Day patterns are subject to availability in your child's room.

The published ratios for each classroom group are shown in the table below. The youngest ratio is 1:5 in Toddlers (18 – 24 months). Ratios are maintained throughout the day, including during nap and lunch. The manager, the nursery nurse and specialist teachers are additional to these numbers rather than counted within them, and absence is covered from our own bank of trained relief staff.

Yes. Mosaic Nursery DMCC holds a current permit from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, which regulates early childhood centres in Dubai. The permit covers our premises, ratios, staff qualifications, curriculum and safeguarding arrangements, and is renewed annually following inspection. Our permit number, 700035, is displayed at reception and appears in the footer of this website.

Your first week at nursery is the settling-in week. It follows a graded pattern: an hour with a parent, then two hours alone, then a morning, a morning with lunch, and a full day. Some children are settled in three days; others take three weeks. Your key person adapts the plan to your child, and you are welcome to wait in the parent room throughout. We phone rather than leave you wondering.

No. Children join at whatever stage they are at, and we support toilet learning when your child shows readiness rather than on a nursery timetable. We follow your approach at home so that the two are consistent, change children promptly and discreetly, and never shame or pressure a child over accidents. Nappies, wipes and cream can be supplied by you or by us.

The whole premises is nut-free, including for birthdays and celebrations. Children bring their own food from home; please do not bring nuts onto the premises.

Every child with a diagnosed allergy has a written care plan agreed with you and their doctor before their first day, a photograph and allergen list in the clinic and their classroom. Emergency medication is kept in their own room rather than a locked office. All staff are trained annually in recognising anaphylaxis and using an auto-injector.

Keep your child home if they have a temperature above 38°C, have vomited or had diarrhoea in the past 24 hours, have conjunctivitis, an undiagnosed rash, suspected hand foot and mouth, or are in the first 24 hours of antibiotics. They can return 24 hours after the last episode and without fever-reducing medication. We know it is inconvenient; applied consistently it means fewer sick days across the year for everyone.

Yes, in a dedicated darkened sleep room with individually labelled cots and mats, laundered daily, monitored continuously with physical checks logged every ten minutes. Toddlers usually sleep after lunch for one to two hours. Older children who no longer nap have a quiet rest period in the library nook with books and low light. We follow your child's rhythm rather than a fixed clock.

The Creative Curriculum is based on the belief that children need to experience child-directed and teacher-directed activities each day, focusing on ten areas of learning and development.

That is exactly what our School Readiness programme is designed for. In their final year children work on the self-help, listening, attention, early phonics and early number skills that reception classes expect, and we run mock school days in the summer term. We provide a transition report to any Dubai school you name on request, and our leavers move on to a wide range of British curriculum schools each year.

Yes. Every room from age two has Arabic sessions with a native-speaking specialist teacher, delivered through song, story, movement and play rather than formal instruction. We also mark the UAE cultural calendar meaningfully, including National Day, Ramadan and Eid, and we teach children a small everyday Arabic vocabulary they will actually use in Dubai.

Not at all — the large majority of our children are growing up with two or more languages, and several of our practitioners are themselves multilingual. It is completely normal for a child's understanding to run well ahead of their spoken English for the first few months, and for them to go through a quiet period. We keep home language visible in the room and never discourage it: strong first-language development supports English rather than competing with it.

Very rarely and always for a specific purpose — looking up a photograph of a real thing a child has asked about, or recording their own voice. There are no televisions, tablets or interactive whiteboards in the rooms, no screen time as an activity, and no screens at all during meals or transitions.

Every child's key person posts photographs with a short note to the parent app during the day. There are formal parent conferences twice a year and a written report at the end of the year. If something goes wrong we phone; we do not save it for pick-up.

Yes, and we would rather you did. Tours run on weekday mornings between 9:30 and 11:00 while the rooms are actually working — not after hours when the nursery is empty and quiet.

Fees are invoiced termly in advance and can be paid by bank transfer, credit card or cheque, with a post-dated cheque plan across the year available on request. A 10% discount applies to a second sibling enrolled at the same time and 15% to a third, and we hold corporate agreements with several employers in JLT and Dubai Marina.

We require one full calendar month of written notice to withdraw or to reduce a session pattern. Refunds are calculated pro rata on complete unused weeks of the current term, less the non-refundable registration fee, and the security deposit is returned or credited within thirty days of the last day of attendance provided the account is clear.

Fortune Executive Tower has covered visitor parking in the basement, and we can validate your ticket at reception. Sobha Realty Metro Station on the Red Line — formerly named DAMAC Properties — is directly opposite the tower, about a six-minute mostly-covered walk. Our floor is step-free from both the basement and the street.

Yes, optional camps run for selected weeks in March, July and December, open to enrolled children and to children from other settings, charged weekly and separately from termly fees. Camps run a lighter timetable built around art, music, movement and indoor play.

Yes, for Enrichment clubs. Clubs run from 3:30 to 4:30 PM, term by term, for children aged 2 to 5 years, and children from other settings are welcome subject to registration and a signed consent form. Places are capped at twelve per club.

We welcome children of all abilities and do not select on development or diagnosis. Where support is needed, our inclusion lead writes an individual education plan with you, reviews it with you every six to eight weeks, supports referrals to therapists, and — with your consent — will host external therapy sessions on site so that strategies carry into the classroom. Talk to us early; we would much rather know before the first day than after.
