Enrolling at Mosaic, start to finish
Choosing a nursery is a large decision made on limited information. This page sets out every step, every document and every figure so that you can compare us honestly against the other nurseries on your list — before you visit, not after.

The journey
Seven steps, usually two to three weeks
From your first message to your child's first morning, the process below is the same for every family. If you need it faster because of a relocation date, tell us — we can usually compress it to a week.
- Step 1
Enquire
Send the enquiry form, WhatsApp us or call. Tell us your child's age band and rough start date and we will confirm within one business day whether the relevant room has space, is tight, or is full with a waitlist.
- Step 2
Tour
A forty-minute visit on a weekday morning between 9:30 and 11:00, while the rooms are running. You will see every room your child could join, the sleep room and the playroom, and meet the manager. Children are welcome and usually end up playing.
- Step 3
Application
Complete the registration form and upload your documents through the parent portal. A non-refundable registration fee is payable at this point, which holds your child's name against a specific start date.
- Step 4
Getting-to-know-you visit
Not an assessment or an entrance test — nurseries in Dubai do not select on ability. This is a short informal session in the room your child would join, so that we can meet them, and so you can tell us how they sleep, eat, settle and communicate.
- Step 5
Offer & deposit
We confirm the place, the room, the session pattern and the start date in writing. A deposit equal to one month's fees secures it and is credited against your final term's invoice when your child leaves, provided notice terms are met.
- Step 6
Settling in
Your first week at nursery is the settling-in week. It is structured: some time with a parent, followed by some time alone, then a morning, then a morning including lunch, then a full day. Some children need three days, some need three weeks, and there is no fixed script — your key person adapts it to your child.
- Step 7
First full day
Your child arrives to a familiar adult, a labelled cubby, their photograph on the wall and a key person who already knows their comfort object by name. You will get a message before ten o'clock telling you how the morning has gone.
Paperwork
Documents required in Dubai
Nursery registration in Dubai is regulated, and the KHDA requires a specific set of documents before a child may attend. Scanned copies are fine for everything except the medical form.
For your child
- Passport copy, including the photograph page
- Valid UAE residence visa copy
- Emirates ID copy, both sides (or the application receipt if pending)
- Birth certificate, in English or Arabic, or an attested translation
- Complete immunisation record from birth
- Medical fitness form completed and signed by a DHA-licensed doctor within the last three months
- Six recent passport-sized photographs
- Report or transition summary from any previous nursery
For parents & collection
- Passport and visa copies for both parents or guardians
- Emirates ID copies for both parents or guardians
- Two emergency contacts resident in the UAE, with ID copies
- Photographs and ID of every adult authorised to collect your child
- Signed consent forms: photography, sunscreen, outings, emergency medical treatment
- Signed acknowledgement of the parent handbook and fee terms
- Custody or guardianship documentation, where relevant

All fees are subject to KHDA approval and to VAT where applicable. The School Readiness strand carries no additional charge, and Enrichment clubs are priced per club per term.

- All art materials, resources and the learning journal
- The full settling-in week programme
- The School Readiness programme in a child's final year
- Parent app access, progress reports and parent conferences
Charged separately
- Enrichment clubs, 3:30 – 4:30 PM, priced per club per term
- Holiday camps in July and December
- Late collection after 6:00 PM, AED 100 per fifteen minutes
Sibling & corporate discounts
A 10% discount applies to the tuition of a second child enrolled at the same time, and 15% to a third. We also hold corporate agreements with a number of employers in JLT and Dubai Marina offering 5% to 10% off tuition for their staff. Discounts apply to tuition only, are not combinable, and are applied at invoicing.
Payment terms
Fees are invoiced termly, in advance, and are due within fourteen days of the invoice date or before the first day of term, whichever is earlier. We accept bank transfer, credit card and cheque; a post-dated cheque plan across the year can be arranged on request. Places cannot be held on unpaid invoices beyond the first week of term.
Refunds & withdrawal
One full calendar month's written notice is required to withdraw a child or reduce a session pattern; notice given mid-term takes effect from the following month. Refunds are calculated pro rata on unused weeks of the current term, less the registration fee. The security deposit is returned or credited within thirty days of the last day of attendance, provided notice was given and the account is clear.
