Facilities & safety
Mosaic occupies a single floor with no internal stairs, direct lift access from the parking level, and rooms designed around what children of this age actually do. Safety is not a section at the bottom of this page — it is why the rooms are shaped the way they are.

Classrooms
One room per age band, each with its own washroom and each carrying the colour it has on the programmes page. Furniture is child-height and wooden, storage is low and open, and walls carry the children's own work rather than commercial posters. Rooms are deep-cleaned nightly and reset by the team before 7:45 AM.

A climbing ramp, heavy work baskets, a home corner at knee height and a washroom with steps the children manage themselves.

Clear play areas — construction, home corner, small world, books and creative materials.

An investigation table at the centre of the room, easels at the window, a writing area and a block area large enough for four children to build in at once.

A woodwork bench, a number line at child height, a project shelf where unfinished work is left out overnight, and a quiet reading corner for two.

A quiet, curtained corner with front-facing shelves, books in English and Arabic, and a lending library parents borrow from at pick-up. This is also where non-napping children spend the rest period, reading with an adult.
Indoor play
Indoor play happens in the Playroom and a large indoor gym.

Impact-absorbing flooring, climbing blocks, a low slide, balance beams, tunnels, ride-ons and a ball wall, used in rotation by one group at a time so it never becomes a crowd. Equipment is inspected weekly against a written checklist and replaced rather than repaired.
Security
Two questions matter more than any other in nursery security. Here are our answers, in full.
One controlled entrance, locked at all times, opened only from the staffed reception desk. Parents enter with a personal keycard or biometric registration; keycards are deactivated the day a child leaves. Contractors and visitors sign in against photo ID, are issued a visitor badge, and are escorted at all times — no exceptions, including for deliveries and maintenance.
Children are released only to the named adults on your authorised collection list, each of whom we hold a photograph and ID copy for. A one-off change requires written notice from you before 3:00 PM plus ID at the door. If we are not certain, we call you, and your child stays with us until we are.
Cameras cover the entrance, corridors and every classroom, but not toilets or nappy-changing areas. Footage is retained for thirty days on an access-controlled on-premises recorder and is reviewable by the manager only. Parents may request a review of footage relating to a specific incident involving their own child.
We run monthly alarm tests, six-monthly extinguisher servicing and a fire drill every term involving all children and staff. Evacuation is to the tower's designated assembly point, with a printed register and each room's emergency grab-bag.
Safeguarding
Our safeguarding and child protection policy is written to KHDA requirements and reviewed annually. It is available in full on request; this is the summary every parent should read.
Health
Nursery is where small children meet every virus in Dubai. Clear rules, applied consistently, keep everyone's child in nursery more days of the year — including yours.
Every practitioner holds a current paediatric first aid certificate, renewed every two years, and at least four qualified first aiders are on site at any moment. We keep stocked first aid kits in every room and in each outing bag, and an AED at reception. Head injuries always trigger a phone call, however minor they appear.
Children with a fever above 38°C, vomiting, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, an undiagnosed rash or suspected hand, foot and mouth must stay home, and may return twenty-four hours after the last episode and without medication. If a child becomes unwell here, we call you immediately and care for them quietly away from the group.
We administer prescribed medication only, in its original labelled packaging, with a written parental authorisation naming the dose and time. Two staff check and sign every dose. Emergency medication — inhalers, adrenaline auto-injectors — is stored unlocked but out of reach in the child's own room, never in a locked office.
